They have cuesheets, MD5, and SFV files available (Darius Gaiden for Saturn, as I have this one):<br>

However, it does not state how they decided upon these particular standards, which I think would have been an important explanation, as somebody obviously put a lot of thought into it before they started their project and it's important to know to what extent they know what they're doing. For instance, how does it compare to this method:<br>
