Unfortunately, they sent it out after many people registered AND on 5 PM of the last day of early discount registration (which has magically been extended to midnight today, Feb 17). That sure was nice of them, wasn't it? <br>
<br><div>THANKFULLY,<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><span style="font-weight: bold;">y</span><span style="font-weight: bold;">ou can call them up to get the discount added to your ticket if you already purchased!</span><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>This means if you're an IGDA member (and if you aren't, why not!) you can get a whole $150 taken off your pass purchase ($100 discount code PLUS $50 membership discount). Here's how you get your discount if you already registered:<br>
<br><ul><li style="margin-left: 15px;">Call this registration customer service number, which I pulled off the GDC main site: <b>(415) 947-6926</b><br></li><li style="margin-left: 15px;">You can listen to the menu, or choose option 2 (about passes) and then option 0 (speak to operator). <br>
</li><li style="margin-left: 15px;">Kindly tell the operator that you registered for the GDC, but the IGDA didn't give out the discount code until today. They will ask you for your last name and first name, and then for the code, which is: <b>"IGDASP"</b><br>
</li><li style="margin-left: 15px;">They should put you on hold for a couple minutes, and then will promptly get back notifying you that the discount has been applied!<br></li><li style="margin-left: 15px;">Be sure to thank the operator for helping you out and saving your $100!<br>
