Graphics Collective produced over 50 silk-screened posters that
explored social and political issues from a feminist viewpoint. These
large colorful posters decorated the offices and homes of feminists
across North America. They were printed by hand and sold for a few
dollars by the tens of thousands during the rise of the Women's
Liberation Movement in the 70s and 80s.</font></div>

PARTICIPATES IN "OUTSPOKEN - CHICAGO'S FREE SPEECH

January 15, Chicagoans will be celebrating our city's rich free speech
tradition with an exhibit at the Newberry Library and a series of
public events. Sponsored by the Newberry Library and the Chicago
Historical Society, the exhibit features leaflets, posters, letters,
photos, news clippings, cartoons, recordings, newpapers and other
records of how Chicagoans have spoken out for justice in the face of
opposition.</font></div>

is a CWLU poster advocating economic justice for women, a photo of the
Chicago Women's Liberation Rock Band and the original 33 1/3 vinyl LP

the Chicago and New Haven Women's Liberation Rock Bands.</font></div>

spoken by local actors performing at the Las Manos Gallery on Clark
Street. The performance used the words of Alix Olson, Justice
Harry Blackmun, Emily Lyons, Kathy Najimy former Jane member
Judith Arcana, and many more to present a night of theater, spoken
word, comedy, poetry, oral history and journalism.</font></div>

including a women's health tent sponsored by the Chicago Women's
Liberation Union.</font></div>
