Dear Japanophiles,
The t-shirt sale last week was huge! Thanks to all of you who now
have the most hilarious Japanese t-shirt I've seen in a long time or
the Otaku hat.
This week Rolomail.com offers two DVD stocking stuffers (which will
start shipping out on Monday) to enjoy watching while you relax, and
at the same time learn something more about Japan, its language, and
its culture.
YesJapan DVD
YesJapan has achieved cult status with students of Japanese language
with its innovative online study tools, kanji quiz materials, and
originally produced television shows that make it fun to learn about
Japan. Now watch the "Best of YesJapan" with a great new DVD that's
loaded with their very best shows, each filled with fun topics
related to Japan or the Japanese language. Included are "Tricks to
sound good in Japanese," "Techniques to impress your Japanese
friends," "Brushing off people in Japanese," and the famous "Date
with Keiko" episodes. This holiday season broaden your knowledge of
Japan's culture and language with YesJapan's new DVD! Also, many
Easter eggs and footage that was never released.

Seven Days in Japan
For less than ten USD, "Seven Days in Japan" is a fascinating
documentary made by student film director and anime fan Joe
Doughrity, who fulfilled his lifelong dream of coming to Japan. Over
the course of a week, Joe explores the ins and outs of Tokyo,
sampling the traditional, the otaku-inspired and the silly,
experiencing such bizarre aspects of Japan as ganguro girls (the dark-
skinned kogals in Tokyo), JPOP music, the nightlife of Shibuya, and
even fighting champ Bob Sapp. Join Joe as they explore Ueno Park,
marvel at giant robots, and learn how anime is made while visiting a
famous animation studio. If you've ever been interested in anime or
taking a trip to Tokyo, "Seven Days in Japan" is for you!
