Correct.  That's the problem when you have multiple things overloading a 
term.  You get things like international inch, surveyer's inch (which 
differs by 2ppm) and all the approximate things we used back before 
things were standardized.

Hmmm, isn't that just what we're talking about with the overloaded term 
second?
