[LEAPSECS] Future of Time meeting

As a workshop associated with a large conference we have no special plans for published proceedings or transcribed discussions. However, both are available as preprints for the 2011 and 2013 meetings:
Decoupling Civil Timekeeping from Earth Rotation:
http://www.cacr.caltech.edu/futureofutc/2011/preprints/
and Requirements for UTC and Civil Timekeeping on Earth:
http://www.cacr.caltech.edu/futureofutc/preprints/
The published proceedings are available from the American Astronautical Society:

Powerpoint is also available and I imagine we will put the slides from the Sunday sessions online, too. By all means pass these papers and discussions around widely.

It would be very nice, if at all possible, if the speeches (the text, not just the PowerPoint bullet-points) could be transcribed and made available after the event. It would also be a useful collection for us to pass on to other interested individuals in (and beyond) our organisations to help widen the awareness of the subject.

The goal is not to debate the policy issues, but rather to raise awareness of the issue, its historical context and operational implications. Members of the leapsecs list are welcome to attend, whether astronomers or not.
