The IAU WG report points out the existing body of documents from
various IAU General Assemblies which very clearly describe that
Universal Time is a measure of earth rotation which is distinct from
Atomic Time, and that UTC is appropriately named because it includes
characteristics of both.
Has the IAU taken a vote or produced a further statement at a General
Assembly which changes (or even addresses) that definition of
Universal Time?
