At no time in history have the technological pieces so readily aligned to solve this problem as the present. Al-Chaahad is a system which provides the first serious opportunity to unify new moon sightings, and consolidate the sighting process in a verifiable and reliable framework. Over the past 30 months, field tests have assisted in the development of a scalable system that enables anyone located anywhere in the world to utilize the combined power of proven technologies including elements of orbital mechanics, imaging, global positioning system, atomic clock reading, secure communication and image processing to document sightings.<div style="margin-top: 0px; "><br class="webkit-block-placeholder"></div></div></td></tr><tr></tr></tbody></table><br></span></div></body></html>
