First thought: I'm too late - I am currently working on a javascript
port too (but with another approach than a line-by-line port).

I've tested out your implimentation and it seems to be very performant.
Good work.

Hmm. I think I will finish my script and test it's speed. If it is
slower than yours, I will forget about it.
