The following will be grounds for expulsion of officers:

1.Committing the Green Party to actions, endorsements, and
other policy positions
outside the decision-making process (see powers of Steering
Committee).
2.Misrepresenting the decisions and policies of the Green
Party.
3.Misappropriation, embezzlement, or unauthorized disbursement
of Green Party funds.
4.Advocacy or practice of discrimination.
5.Advocacy or practice of violent political action.
6.Misrepresentation of self.

Any three Coordinating Committee delegates from different
states can bring charges of
impeachment against a Green Party officer. Such charges must
be in writing. Once
charges are brought, a grievance tribunal will be selected by
members of the Steering
Committee who are not the subject of the impeachment. The
grievance tribunal will hear
both sides and decide the matter in a manner consistent with
the principles of due
process. The grievance tribunal shall consist of three
individuals from states associated
with the Green Party and shall not consist of any Green Party
officers or individuals from
the states that originally brought the charges. The grievance
tribunal will make a
recommendation to the Coordinating Committee on-line within a
reasonable amount of
time. The Coordinating Committee will then conduct an on-line
vote with a two-third no
vote necessary to remove an individual from office.

<DIV>
<DIV>Folks,</DIV>
<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV>
<DIV>Hold on. Re-read the proposal the first thing that it calls for is a vote confidence. I obviously believe that direction and vision of this SC is not&nbsp;consistent with the collective vision of the Green Party. My proposal is to evaluate the SC in total as it is now and take it to your state organizations and local organizations and see if they agree with what the current SC has done and been doing or whether they disagree if they disagree then the vote would be that they do not have confidence in the leadership of the SC and then I called for a model for remedy. There are no demands in this proposals </DIV>
<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV>
<DIV>This is not all that hard, and shouldn't be all that upsetting to folks it simply at first asking for a vote of no confidence and then action determining what to do next. I could have gotten in to charges and stuff like that (and truly there are some reason and sound bases for it) but I didn't, because I really want there to be a discussion that is not being had right now at this critical point of the development of our national party. </DIV>
<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV>
<DIV>So, take a deep breath look at the proposal again and then think about how you would like to the next steps. </DIV>
<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV>
<DIV>It is nine whereas' and only three proposals. <BR><BR><B><I>Andy Parx &lt;parx at midpac.net&gt;</I></B> wrote:</DIV>
