[Public Mountain Conditions Report]

On a flight through Kootenay National Park today, there was evidence of
some natural avalanche activity on North aspects in the alpine (up to size
2), but much less than expected. Most of the slides observed were soft
storm snow slabs approximately 30cm deep. These were likely sliding on the
Dec 9th layer.

The slopes leading up to French Reality do not look particularly loaded at
the moment either, but any small pocket that is above threshold will have a
soft slab sitting on top weak facets and depth hoar.
