The route is still in good condition and quite hooked out on the first 2 pitches.  The crux pitch has numerous dry lines currently, as it is only the far right side that is wet.

The sidewalls of the gully have lots of snow on them still - this could be very serious if someone was in the wrong place at the wrong time.  

As many guides have mentioned the solar effect on ice routes is sky high at the moment.  We started very early and were back at the vehicle before midday.  

Earlier than "normal" starts and paying attention to your routes aspect are crucial.
