[Public Mountain Conditions Report]

Climbed the Kain Route yesterday. Beautiful day and Clare and I had the peak to ourselves.As reported last week - there are still snow patches to negotiate to get to the base of the route. A lightweight axe was useful for cutting a few steps in the snow on the approach.The climb is nice and dry and the only water we encountered on the route was on the last rap where we were able to fill up our water bottles.Cheers,Stevie B.
