Climbed Coire Dubh today (Nov 24) to the top of the ice pitchs. We did not continue up the rock pitchs, but they appear to be in good condition with a tiny bit of ice showing on the crux pitch.

The climb is not yet in "typical" conditions with sections of thin and/or unformed ice. There is currently a fair amount of snow on the route with really only two and a half pitchs of ice climbing. Protection on the first pitch was marginal due to the quality of the ice.

Note: the final anchor (at the end of the ice climbing) has been replaced and moved. One rusty bolt remains on the boulder where the original anchor was. The new two-bolt anchor is slightly higher and on the climber's left of the final pitch. It has a short strand of red prussik hanging on it for easier identification.

Have fun out there!
