Matt Chesser & I were up at the Bow Hut with a Yamnuska Intro to Mountaineering course July 20-25. We had generally excellent travel conditions despite no overnight freeze with boot top foot penetration. The snowline is retreating to higher elevations daily so there is lots of bare ice and crampons are needed. Kudos to the previous groups who left the hut in great shape!
