I guided an ascent of the Weeping Wall Right Hand on March 6th. The route is in great shape and we continued up to the Upper Weeping Wall opening up the trail up there for the first time since the last snow storm. The first pitch of Tear Drop (the line of least resistance up a corner on climber's left) has poor and rotten ice for your right tool and foot on it's steepest part. We rappelled from one pitch up. Another party climbed one pitch up climber's right at the same time and reported decent ice there.

Yesterday, March 7th, I guided Murchison Falls opening the trail after the last snows there too. Not as much snow in this area. The route is huge and there was little to no trace of other recent ascents.

Happy trails,
