[MCR] Experts Choice - Waterton

Hello,

My guest and I enjoyed climbing in the sun on ‘Experts Choice – Left hand line’ in Waterton on Saturday February 1st.

We found challenging climbing conditions in the first 15 meters of this route.  There is a newly formed layer of thin ice covering the old sun/wind rotted ice underneath.  Lots of fracturing of the new ice, hollow tool placements, and tricky to find protection.  Good ice from the top of that section on.

The entire left side is in the sun by 1130 at this time of year.

There was at least 3 parties on Quick and Dirty and French Kiss
