I guided an ascent of 2 Low 4 0, and Green Monster at the Rehab Wall yesterday, Jan 13.

2 Low 4 0 is thin and I was happy to find 2 bolts in the first 10 metres and to augment them with a 13 cm and 16 cm screws. I clipped the first anchor and kept going up the right hand option. A gold hanger and bolt lie just under a small overlap on the left about 5 metres up. From there it was screws and abalakovs to a single bolt and screw anchor on the right edge of the climb at about 50 metres. The bolt is tucked in tight behind a blue pillar. Had I nt run out of slings I would rather have belayed at a 2 bolt anchor at the big horizontal ledge that forms the cliff horizon on all three climbs when viewed from below. That 2 bolt station is on the right beside a truncated tree.

My first time to the Rehab Wall. Note that it is in the left hand fork of the creek and that the approach trail is in the forest on top of the canyon. It is a good boot pack right now. Turn left at a small piece of pink flagging tape, about 15 minutes, and descend to the creek. Turn right at the creek to the wall. Green Monster is fat and fun. We top roped a steeper pillar 3 metres right.

Happy trails,
