[MCR] Coast: Avalanches Spearhead Range March 20th

For those who haven't been out and about recently, attached are a couple of photos of recent avalanches (natural cycle March 20th) on northerly aspects taken Sunday March 29th in the Spearhead Range. It appears they both started in steep, shallow, rocky terrain and propagated a long way, likely on the December facet/crust combination, both in the size 3 range. Both avalanches are on regularly skied lines. We can expect similar types of avalanches each time we get a significant weather event this season (snow, wind, rapid warming).

These photos also give you an idea of the scouring and redistribution of snow from the wind event late last week.
