What a wonderful and spontaneous report, Darryl, thank you!

I've been watching the ceremony only on TV, but I received a similar 
impression - moving.

Of course reality will set back in - but this experience is real too.

Perhaps the series of observed fireballs during the last days and nights 
only happened to arrange a nice firework to honor the 44th President of the 
USA ;-)

So just keep on smiling.
