1) The August issue of S&T was in my mailbox today. On pp. 22-25, you'll find
   J.K. Beatty's* article entitled: Asteroid Shatters Over Sudan: Catch A Fallen Star

  * You will have seen and read his post: "Seismic Data search for 6JUL09 meteor"

2) In the September issue of Sky & Telescope (on your newsstands by August 4th),
   you'll find an article about: "Ice Age Impact: Did a wayward comet wipe out large
   North American mammals?"
