[meteorite-list] Nickel tests

Mike:

I have used the nickel allergy test as well and it did not seem to be that reliable.  I had an iron meteorite and it did not test positive for nickel.  However, I did have a small nugget of nickel where it did test positive.  Maybe there needs to be a high concentration in the metal.

Does any one on the list 'know' of a reliable way to test for nickel?
