Crane Tenders

I read the questions about crane tenders and kept looking at my own crane that I had modeled with a tender but I could not remember where I recieved the inspiration to model mine.....until tonight, I got out my old Arrows (Before each convention I like reminise on convention past) when I re-discovered the photo that answers all question, it is located in the May/June 1999 Arrow on page 11, it was submitted by Gary Rolih and depicts a dead elephant being hauled off by a N&W crane, behind it is a tender, albeit has been removed from its trucks and mounted on a flat car that is being used as a boom tender, further research revealed another photo in the July/August 1997 Arrow also on page 11, also the tender is on a flat, I hope this helps, see youins Wednsday.-Gary Price
