Subject: Acquiring and old Signal

Discussion on the list has gotten me interested in
acquiring an old signal. Where and how does one do
that? Thanks. glm

Hello, Gary:

Richard Shell, Ken Miller, Abram Burnett, and others
on this list may be able to give you off-line advice
if you have an email address. Also, there is at least
one outside dealer at the Gaithersburg, MD
Railroadiana Show on the first Sunday of November who
has signals and signs available for sale. The way not
to pursue this is to take materiel laying alongside
railroad rights-of-way. Unfortunately, most Class I
railroads will not consider salvage sales of small
lots. Shortline railroads may.

By the way, if anyone learns of a presentably wig-wag
becoming available, please let me know. However, I am
sure I'd have to wait in a long line for one.

Good luck,

Frank
