WWII history

I have learned in a round-about way that the re-fuel station at 
Dwight, Va, may have been used in WWII as an ammunition assembly 
plant? I am compiling the history of Zuni, Va and Dwight is a part of 
that history.  I would like to know where to confirm the details of 
this WWII activity. Thanks for any info
