Saltville Branch Activity

Went over to Saltville yesterday (Thursday).
Did not see any rail-removal activity. I did talk to Charlie "Bill" Totten and the Town Manager as to what is to happen to the "Saltville Shifter" (attached photo). Except for the cabosse (it will return to under the shed with the steam locos)  there are no decisions made as yet --- it will go before town council at their next meeting. But everyone agrees that the two deisels and the "passenger" cars and the rail-crane (not shown in the photo) are soon to be stranded big time.
