Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen identification disk

VERY INTERESTING.

I just checked the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers button that I have and 
there is NO marking of any kind on the back.

However, I also checked some 40 year sterling silver service pins from the 
Pennsylvania Railroad and all have names and service dates impressed in the back.
