  The Norfolk and Western Handbook by Conley Wallace and Aubrey Wiley has a picture of the 614780 with the caption "Dynamometer car built in 1919. Originally had only one cupola. Car is maroon with deluxe gold lettering."  I realize that this conflicts with the information from Peter.
