Doghouse on Modern N&W steam

At the NWHS archives work session last week, I showed some of my old  movies of steam on the  Winston-Salem line in the mid 50's.   Two shots of No 81, one passing Ridgeway and another passing the  current location of the new car lot at Walkertown showed the head  brakeman leaving the doghouse and starting over the coal to the engine  cab to handle switchs for a meet at Price in the former and to head in  North Winston yard  in the latter.
