General Mahone

Abe:
General Mahone  isn't buried in Lynchburg, but in Petersburg's
Blandford Cemetary along with Petersburg native and Hollywood
actor,  Joseph Cotten.
 
Don't know what's happened to it, but supposedly Mr. Claytor
found Mahone's desk in the station at Petersburg and had it
shipped to Roanoke for his use.
