I looked the units up in my 1965  N&W Locomotive Equipment book ; 2544 (exNKP 544) has 6-SL and 2470 (ex-NKP 470) has 6-BL.

  According to the Gospel by Bowers, the 2544 has 6SL and the 2470 had 6BLM.

      Can anyone tell me what the "brake schedules" (i.e. type of equipment) were on RS-3 NKP 544/N&W 2544 and GP-9 NKP 470/N&W 2470 ?

      They had either No. 6 or No. 8 equipment.
