Where was the OLD freight station at Roanoke?

Prior to the construction of the new "Freight Station" at Roanoke (Commerce St and Norfolk Ave) in 1917, where was the location of the N&W's Roanoke freight house?  Was it in the old AM&O depot (Commerce St and Shenandoah Ave) ???
