Groseclose Wreck with Race Horse Smith...?

Abe,

 A retired railroader from way back told me about a double header that hit a slide at Crockett Va near his farm, He also stated that the fireman was from Crockett and was some kin to him and that the fireman got up, dusted himself off and walked to his house until railroad officals came to retrieve him, this possibly could be that wreck.
