N&W Employee Timetable #2, 1881

At 10.5 miles from Norfolk, Tucker's probably became Yadkin.   This
station was significant because going west, it was the last outpost
of civilization for 12 miles.  Tucker's was where N&W entered  the
Dismal Swamp.  James River Siding was shortened to James.   The
same station on the C&O was named Six Mile.
