boxcars in coke service?

   I was reading in a book on the Interstate RR that in the 30's and 40's they used boxcars provided by the L&N to move coke. Were boxcars used to move coke on the N&W? If so , What time period?
 
 Always looking for a reason to have boxcars on my model railroad coal branch.
