Ralston out of Columbus should be in the list, too. They built coal cars
(HP's I think) and some of the box cars in the early 1920's. Unfortunately,
the Ralston records have been destroyed and disbursed severely n the
Columbus, Ohio area so that they cannot be used for research.
By the way, the Ralston shops were along the B&O Newark line to the compass
east of Joyce Avenue Yard.
There are numerous Ralston ads in the N&W employee magazines in the 1920's
and early 1930's.

Thank you David. It's a great starting point for me. I wasn't aware that
the Roanoke shops produced as many cars as it did. Would you mind sharing
your source information? I'm on the steep part of the learning curve for
this and I like to collect resources as I go along.
