  Hundman Publishing is releasing a new N&W book, entitled: "Norfolk And Western, Steam's Last Stand."  It is written by Mallory Hope Ferrell.  It covers 1945-1960, and is 320 pages.  

  The only place I have seen it advertised is the current issue of "Classic Trains".  There is nothing on the Hundman website, and apparently no advanced information was sent to dealers.  So if you decide to order the book, you might want to take a copy of the magazine ad, just so your dealer knows of the book's existance.  The ad said orders are due in early January (great timing seeing how the magazine hit the market just this week)  with the book due late winter or early spring.
