Bill,
We still have a few Jordan Speaders on property as well as several jet snow
blowers on rail wheels, one particular is a jet engine mounted on a rail/hi-way
Gradall truck body, seen it in action one winters day at Shadyside, Ohio.

Yes indeed, Gary, two of the Jordan spreaders came to Buffalo
in the storm of 1976. The second spreader had a bit of
trouble at Erie -- the wings failed to clear a deck girder
bridge. But had you ever considered a bulldozer ? About
January 28th when temperatures got down to -18 degrees, wind
at 50 MPH, the VP-Operations - Richard Freeman Dunlap, issued
an ultamatim -- he didn't give a $#@&* if Bison had to use
a bulldozer, he wanted cars humped. No bulldozer, but that
night, the SD-40 and two slugs managed to get four cars
humped on third trick -- snow clogged switches, wind, etc.
