Welch, W.Va., Feb 16, 1907

Work will begin soon on a tunnel that will run from the power house
through to the main track by he Miners Hospital. This will shorten
the distance at least a mile. Preparations are now being made to
build houses for at least 300 workmen in Woodmont addition, six
houses being built, a stable and a commissary and several more houses
under construction.
