Operations between Bluefield and Maybeury

Does anyone know of any published material describing main-line operations
between Bluefield and Maybeury?

Where is Christiansburg grade located in respect to this area?
Were there any helper operations in or near the Maybeury - Bluefield or
Christiansburg area?
Was the new Elkhorn tunnel in service by 1953? Was it double tracked?

Some small maps show triple track in only one area ( that I can see ). Is
that basically correct? Was it on the Christiansburg grade? Was there a
tunnel here?

Now, going to the other side of Roanoke, what is a good way to identify the
location of Boaz siding on the topo maps?

Apologies for peppering you with questions, but this enquiring mind needs
to know.
