Jimmy,

I agree.  I could understand someone calling Southern Railway the parent company of AGS, CofG, or any of the multitude of railroads that made up Southern; or Chessie System was the parent of B&O, WM and C&O; or Family Lines was the parent of Seaborad, Clinchfield, L&N, etc.

But PRR certainly ain't the N&W's daddy!
