On hand in the archives is a ledger marked "Engine
Assignments".  It gives a bio on N&W steam  and
diesel power, notes date and place dismantled.
Some entries show scrap dealer engine sold to. 
 
For example, here's what I found on Y3 2022;
 
5/28/19 - Received new.  Assigned Radford   Division.
6/20/19 - Assigned Pocahontas Division.
5/14/21 - Assigned Scioto Division
1/21/24 - Assigned Radford Division
10/9/24 - Assigned Scioto Division.
10/7/44 - This engine with tender 160148 was sold to
               ATSF Ry. system, delivered under steam to
               the Big 4 Railroad at Ivorydale 11:00 PM for
              ATSF  Ry., Fort Madison, Iowa.
