611 at Pearisburg, Aug 1959

Wasn't there an AEP excursion in early September?  I thought it ran east of Roanoke, though.

I still think part of the key is the painted-over headlight trim.  Wasn't this done only in the last few months of 611's active service life (maybe July through Oct 1959)?
