  In the past month, there have been listings on ebay by a man who has made and sells a CD of Official Equipment Registries.  I bought a 1934 issue that has well over a thousand pages!  The index is off but it isn't hard to figure out after a little fumbling. The price is very reasonable, I feel.   Try doing a search "Official Equipment Registry."  If there are not any listed now, do the search under "completed auctions."

  And I have nothing to gain by endorsing this individual's efforts.  It is just a way to share knowledge!
