Postal Routes Extended
Beginning this morning the postal routes on trains Nos. 41 and 42,
between Lynchburg and Bristol, will be extended to Washington, and in
the future all the trains between Lynchburg and Washington will carry
mail. This will mean that ten postal clerks who have been making
Lynchburg their terminus will now have the end of their run at
Washington. Nineteen men will be required to handle the mail on the
new route which will be known as Washington & Bristol, nine of the
number begin transferred from Atlanta, Ga.
