Coal Loading Drop Reported by N&W

   The Norfolk and Western Railway loaded 12,957 50-ton equivalent 
cars of coal last week, a drop of 1,683 form the previous week's 
14,640 loadings.
   During the week ending Feb. 9 of last year the total was 17,804. 
However an N&W spokesman said the total last year was cut during the 
aftermath of floods which hit Western Virginia.
   The daily breakdown last week: Monday, 1,702; Tuesday, 1,952; 
Wednesday, 2,889; Thursday, 3,196; Friday, 2,941; and Saturday, 277.
