Round faced signals demise, N&W signals

 Howdy,

 I sent in a question about the demise of the large round signal faces and also asked about some different signals. I was surprised that I got no answers. I know what a searchlight signal is, but I asked about the one I saw on the N&W since I had never seen one used in that aspect. 

 I watched a film the other night and learned roughly the time period when the NW stopped using those neat, large, round signals. But I still have no idea what the searchlight signal was being used for. If anyone knows if that searchlight signal was used to designate a block across the bridge I would sure appreciate knowing. I am also still hpping to learn what that two light signal was as well. If it helps, it was on the same mast as the searchlight signal was on, roughly two feet above it. If anyone on this list knows a signal maintainer on todays NS RR I would appreciate knowing how I might contact him. Perhaps then I might be able to learn something about the N&W/NS signaling methods.
