N&W Will Lay Off 108 More Workers

   Norfolk and Western Railway announced yesterday that it will lay off 108
more of its employes in the Roanoke shops at the end of the work day Thursday.
   The layoffs will raise to about 680 the number of workers furloughed at
the shops since last November.
