N&W Coal Loadings Down 1,000 Cars

   Norfolk & Western Railway's coal loadings last week were more than 
1,000 below those of the previous week.
   The total last week was 14,379 cars of 50-ton equivalent. That 
compared with 15,522 in the week ending March 15 and with 22,878 in 
the week ending March 23 last year.
   Daily breakdown for last week: Monday, 2,154; Tuesday, 3,088; 
Wednesday, 3,325; Thursday, 3,218; Friday, 2,264, and Saturday, 330.
