I have seen several 8X10 photos from GE captioned like this. One, which I think is the same date as this one, taken at Mullens, and another, a week or so later, crossing Garwood Bridge. I don't know if they were ever in used in a specific GE publication. At this point in time three of the four EL-2b's had been delivered, the last one leaving Erie in April.

While I don't know the location, I will hazard a guess that it may be Clarks Gap. It seems like I remember a long tangent like this at the east end.

  As stated before, the Electric Railroaders' Association of New York has produced a series of CD's with images from the ERA's Sprague Library depicting electric streetcars, interurbans, and locomotives.  The attached photo is the fourth one on the VGN that I have posted from the Deep South Traction, Part 1 CD.

  This interesting, and rare scene, of a VGN EL-2B pushing snow needs some documentation.  One, can anyone identify the location of this snowy scene?  Two, this photo appears to have been part of a GE publication.  Can anyone identify that GE publication?
